Major Works
| • Plantation – Nearly Two Thousand saplings have been planted till date including the ‘Sacred Garden’, which has nearly One Hundred varieties of herbal and medicinal plants. |
| • Creation of Water Bodies – Three ponds named after Buddha, Jesus and Krishna, with a total capacity of approximately Twenty Million Liters (Twenty Thousand Cubic Meters), have been dug to harvest and retain water. | |
| • Roads – Nearly two kilometers of internal gravel-topped roads have been laid. |
| • Bodhisthan – A Thousand square feet hut with a unique twin-pyramid roof has been built to commemorate the spot of the first group meditation on Life University land. It can accommodate One Hundred people and serves as a meeting and Meditation hall. | |
| • Arch for the main entrance – A 40 feet (four floors) high arch to mark the main entrance to the Life University land has been built. |
| • Pyramid Conference Hall – A Pyramid with a base of Fifty-Four feet by Fifty Four feet that can accommodate around Four Hundred people has been built. This pyramid is named as ‘Shreans Daga Pyramid’ and serves as a Meditation and conference hall. | |
| • Stone Labyrinth – A huge labyrinth made of brick masonry has been built. It has Seven Hundred and Twenty Meters of walking path. Walking inside a labyrinth facilitates contemplating on a problem in a meditative state, which increases intuitive abilities and brings forth profound insights. |
Major Milestones
• Life University 1st Birthday Celebrations – On 24th of November 2011, we celebrated the 1st Birthday of Life University, as well as Dr. Newton’s Birthday. It was a grand celebration where Brahmarshi Patriji, Founder, Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM), inaugurated the Pyramid and conducted a Meditation. Patriji also inaugurated the Pyramid Conference Hall, The Sacred Garden and the Labyrinth. People from all over India came together for this function; it was a wonderful reunion and celebration for the Life University Family.
• Donations exceed Rupees One Crore – The total of donations received and donations committed have exceeded Rupees One crore.
Major Activities
| | • Life Coach Training Program – Life University has launched its first Training Program – Life Coach Training in February 2011. This training contains 100 topics of Spiritual Science that help to understand the true nature of our reality, which includes both the Spiritual and Material aspects of our existence. In keeping with the goal of Life University, the program provides tools for “Awakening Wisdom Within”, and helps to integrate and apply it in life. The successful First Batch participants received their certificates on 24th November, 2011, from Brahmarshi Patriji. It was indeed a great honour for them to receive their certificates from one of the greatest Spiritual Scientists in the world. The 2nd Batch of Life Coach Training has successfully commenced on 7th Jan, 2012, with more than 100 participants. |
| • Little Buddhas Program – This completely new program was organized and conducted at Life Research Academy in the month of May 2011. It was a program specially created to spread Spiritual Awareness among children between the ages of 5 12. Various concepts and Meditation were introduced to the 57 participants through this program. A brief introduction was given to the children about Five Masters – Buddha, Christ, Krishna, Mohammed and Pythagoras. It was an amazing experience where Dr. Newton and the other facilitators became children and shared their mirth. It was 5 days filled with laughter and chaos, mixed with serious Spiritual lessons and awareness. | |
• An Addition to the Board of Trustees – The Board of Trustees has been expanded by the addition of Jayshree Ashok. She has taken up the task of spearheading the Fund raising activities in USA. Jayashree brings with her a wealth of experience as a teacher and healer. She has been working in the area of emotional healing and education. She co-founded a non-profit organization ‘Asha Seattle’ in 1994. Asha is a volunteer group that helps set up schools and learning centers in economically poor regions of India. Under her leadership, ‘Asha Seattle’ has inspired over 700 volunteers in the Seattle area. She spent several months volunteering her time with NGOs in India. She is also the founder of ‘Pragya Living Wisdom Centre’ - a healing Centre - and ‘Creative’ - a holistic learning and healing center for children, teachers and families. ‘Creative’ explores a new Vision for education – one that encourages learning with the “flow”. She is one of the founders of The Learning Network. Jayashree has integrated emotional healing into the curriculum while working with ‘Palash Trust’ – an NGO in Bangalore. She has also conducted workshops for several NGOs and schools working with education.
 | • Constituting a Fund Raising Team for Life University – A team has been constituted to spearhead the fund raising activities. The first meeting of the Fund raising team was held on 8th January 2012. During this meeting an action plan was drawn out to raise 5.25 Crore Indian Rupees, for the works being undertaken at Life University during the year 2012. The next meeting will be held on 9th February at Life Foundation, Hyderabad. Weekly teleconferences are being held with members of the team who reside in the United States of America. On 28th January there was a wonderful meeting in Bangalore to brainstorm and begin work with corporate companies. Two corporate companies were identified and contacted. A presentation will be made to them by 1st March. |
• Children’s Life University Project Launched – Dr. Newton felt that an exclusive Life University was needed for children. ‘Children’s Life University’ was launched at Bangalore with Dr. Newton as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, along with Jayashree Janardhan Ashok, Dhivya Narendranath and Rathy Nair as the other trustees. The Children’s Life University will start many ‘Life Schools’ to provide holistic education to children.
The work at Life University is now moving at a much faster and greater pace. Life University extends a warm welcome to everyone who resonates with this Vision.
